Okay so I must say I have a new love... and that is Kleancolor Holo Chrome!!! I cant believe how Holo and Sparkly it is indoors with crappy lighting.  cant stop staring at my nails and cant wait to see what it looks like tomorrow in the sun!!!!

I'm recently new to Kleancolor polishes only owning 4, but i'm very fond of the ones I do own. This one went on perfectly with 2 coats. Formula was a bit think but smoothed right out. And again the color is just drop dead gorgeous!!!!

See isn't it beautiful!!! Those pics are indoors with flash but still the lighting is pretty bad there and its that amazing. Ill defiantly try and get a picture in the sun tomorrow as I can only believe its going to be incredible!!!!!!

Thanks again for reading and ill try and get that Crackle post finished soon to show you guys <3

ASBMF: Chicks and Eggs

Sorry for no posts yesterday, Ive had such a busy past few days Ive been exhausted. I have down half of the crackle swatching thou and done 2 untried manicures and once challenge. Ill do 2 of the blog posts for you lovely readers tonight :) And hopefully on my day off I can go though and read all of your guys lovely comments <3

So today I did the ASBMF Chicks and Eggs challenge. I took a differnt spin on it wanting to try some stamping. Please bare with me on this one, this is the first time I used Sally Hansen Instant Dry polishes to stamp. I used Fushia Flare and Blue-away, as well as Billie Purple. For the bird I used plate MLS 301 and for the dots and lines I used QA3. The base color is 2 coats of Billie French White with 2 coats of Kleancolor Sugar Coat over top :)

I really like the birds I think they are kind of Chick-ish and I like my little spin on the tradition egg. What do you guys think?

CG Prismatics and Stripping tape

As promised yesterday I have a striping tape manicure for you guys today. I was so excited to receive these after ordering them from eBay like a month ago!! I couldn't decided on a color combination so I decided to sue the striping tape for a tape mani. For this manicure I used not only 1 but 3 untried polishes!!!!

I started out with 2 coats of Orly Liquid Vinyl

Its really weird that I didn't like Orly After Party on myself the other day but how much I love pure black... Really boggles my mind lol. After the polishes dried I put the striping tape down creating the design I wanted.

Then one nail at a time I painted the China Glaze Prismatic color and then removed the tape right away :) And this is how it turned out.

On the Thumb and Pinkie is Prism, the Ring and Pointer is Optical Illusion and on the Middle is Liquid Crystal. I absolutely love the way this turned out. I think the black is really nice with it and love the double X design.

Hopefully tomorrow I have time to do the China Glaze Crackle Glitters if not it'll be up on Monday.

Thanks for reading <3

ASBMF: Butterflies :)

I cant believe Ive almost completed the ASBMF challenge. This is number 10 of 14!!! Its went by so quick but Ive loved every challenge and love that I can do them when I have the time.  Today for the butterflies I decided to go with the technique I tried a while ago, but instead to do it on all the nails instead of just two. I choose this since I was so in love with my Neon nails that I figured it was the best way to achieve a butterfly look without having to remove the neon's. And I figured because of the glitter stamping wouldnt be a good idea.

I used black and white stripe rites to create the butterflies :)

What do you guys think of it? I like the Sticks 'n Stones glitter I think it adds a little something to the butterfly wings :) Now i apologize for the short post tonight, got to head to bed. However I will make it up to you guys tomorrow with nail mail, and my first striping tape mani, as well as Sunday showing off the China Glaze Glitter Crackles so stay tuned :)

Sticks 'n stones sunrise:)

Since today's earlier manicure lasted a whole 10 minute on my nails figured I'd try something completely different,  so I decided to do another untried post.Today I received my Sticks 'n stones from Ninja Polish and was itching to try it so I figured a nice neon base underneath it would look awesome.

For the base I started out with 2 coats of Billie French White. In case you guys haven't noticed its by far my favorite white polish. Only cost $1.25 and is opaque in 2 coats with no fussing around :). Once that was dry and I used a damp make-up sponge and used Orly Beach Cruiser, Melt Your Popsicle, and Glow Stick, all from there new Feel the Vibe collection, and created a sunset on the sponge. The water in the sponge stops it from sucking up the polish. Once the lines were on the sponge I blotted it onto a paper to take out a bit of the polish I then applied it to my nails making sure the yellow was at the base of my nail :). Once I did this to all the nails I used the corner of the sponge dipped in polish that's been blotted to fill in and missing spots. The white base really helped to make the neon's pop. Once all this was dry I added a coat of Sticks 'n stones and then 2 coats of top coat. I was actually shocked on the amount of glitter in Sticks 'n Stones. I was actually having to take some off of my nails so that you can see the base color. It was fantastic!!!

I'm really happy with this, I'm defiantly more of a bright colored nail girl and this is right up my alley. And well Sticks 'n stones is just fabulous so how much better could this get. Please excuse the crappy cleanup job I still have a few blue stains from the last manicure and some of the excess polish from the sponge wouldn't come off he he.

Any suggestions on what I should do for tomorrow?

ASBMF: Fresh Cut Lawn

So just wanted to start off this post by informing my lovely readers on an amazing giveaway!!! Carli over at Konadlicious is giving away $500 worth of polish items to one lucky winner! That's right $500, includes gift certificates, brand name polishes, glass bead earings and indie polishes!!! Definitely by far one of the greatest giveaways ever, so go over for a chance to win!!!!

Now onto today's ASBMF: Fresh cut lawn challenge. I figured this was the perfect time to try flocking powder. Not going to lie I did one had left it on for 10 minutes and then removed it. I'm not a fan of being able to feel stuff on my nails and this just isn't practice. It is adorable and fuzzy thou :)

I started off by using Essence Lets Get Lost as the base of the sky. I then used a make-up sponge and dabbed on Essence You Belong to Me and Billie French White. The base for the grass even thou you don't see it was Orly Lucky Duck. And for the flocking powder I used Recollections in Emerald. Don't mind the horrible clean up. Essence Lets Get Lost stained my skin biggg time!!!

What do you guys think about this technique? Would you try it?

Orly After Party

Today I wasn't planning on removing my awesome nails until at work I got some massive tip wear due to the work I was doing. So I figured why not go the opposite of the neon's and go with a dark, and which better then After Party from Orly Feel the vibe.

After Party is a black cream with pink and blue sparkles in it. It was a bit thick to apply but only took 2 coats. I like the color, i'm just not a huge fan of dark nails on me... I don't know why just have never been overly fond of them. Also even after using Seche Vite I find the nails have a strange finish to them, unfortunately the pictured don't seem to show this.

Now tomorrow i'm finally going to try my flocking powder so stay tuned :)

Also I wanted to take a second and thank you all for following me, reading my posts and for commenting. It means alot to me. I cant even believe that i'm up to 85 followers!!! You guys are truly amazing and now I will have to start thinking of a 100 followers giveaway for you lovely readers <3 !!!!

Orly Glowstick and Beach Cruiser!!!

I am sooo excited for this post today!!!! I am in love with the new Orly Feel the vibe collection, and have been dying to use these bright colors all day long after the craptacular weather we had with the freezing temperatures and snow/freezing rain!!!

As soon as these came into my work today I had to snatch them up and then coming home to my new plate made this day even better!!!

However first well get to swatches of the 2 colors :)

First up is Orly Glow Stick, its a neon yellow jelly. It took 4 coats to get fully opaque however you can probably due less if you layered it over a white. The formula on this was perfect and applied like a dream!!!

Isn't this color incredible!!! Its even brighter in person if you can even imagine that!! I cant wait to do a pedicure with this or even do a funky color blocking manicure with it!!!

Now Beach Cruise is a neon pink cream, I used 3 coats for this manicure but could have gotten away with 2. It also applied like a dream, i think this is my new favorite hot pink. If your a pink fan you need this color!!!

Again this color is brighter in person. And I can tell you now i'm not going to want to take this manicure of tomorrow.

Now I was in love with these before I even stamped my animal print on it. Please be easy on me i'm fairly new at stamping especially full nail designs, but I absolutely love this and think it turned out pretty freaking good :)

A few places didn't transfer completely but that was due to my lack of skill not the plate. The plate was absolutely perfect, it transferred beautifully to the stamper. I used Konad black for the stamping and the plate was MLS 301
So what do you guys think of this? Anyone else ready for summer like I am :) xo

Haul and new stamping plate!!!!

Today at my work we got a whole whack of new colors and collections in, I was in polish heaven!!! We got Orly Feel the vibe, dark shadows, and there new core colors. Finger Paints Summer in the city, and China Glaze Glitter crackles.

I figured id buy some of the Orly's today since Ive been lemming after there neon's for quiet awhile now!!! Here are some bottle shots and swatches for ya :)

After party, Beach cruiser, Glow stick, Melt your Popsicle, Bubbly bombshell, and Buried alive

I am in love with the 4 from the Feel your vibe collection, they are soooo bright and the picture doesn't do the shimmer in the black any justice. Also the Buried alive is an awesome color, ill try and do a manicure with it soon :)

Now as you all know Konad Q1 plate is a very popular one but hard to get, so I got the dupe MLS 301.

Isn't it pretty!!!! I couldn't wait to use it so they manicure I did after this has the ripped animal print stamped on it. The plate worked perfectly!!!!

Now stay tuned for my next post which will be done right now using 2 of the new Orly's and this plate!!!

Another untried and ASBMF: Matte Magic

Well today I have a combined post, I decided to use 2 untried polishes for my ASBMF challenge # 8 matte magic. I was originally going to stamp something over a matte background but I decided why not use multi colored glitter and then matte it to try and get that "magic" aspect in there :) Plus i'm still a bit hung over from last night which I did my original Untried manicure but I was already drinking when I did it... it was sooo bad that I already removed it lol.

So I started off with 2 coats of China Glaze Stone Cold from the capitol Colors collection. Its a matte slate grey, I found it was a bit thick but smoothed out pretty good on the second coat.

I then did 2 coats of 365 Days of Color Explosion, it was kind of hard to fish the glitter out but once i got good coverage and matted it with NYC Matte Top Coat it looked awesome!!!

Todays haul and nail mail from this week

I decided today that since I'm loving my Cult Nails from yesterday to much to take off today I would show you the 2 nail mails I haven't posted yet as well as one I got today and what I bought today.

I was very surprised today on how much self control I had!! I went into Trade Secrets, Cosmo prof, Claire's and Sephora and came out with only 4 things for myself!!!!

I also received my spring surprise, the 365 days of color nail mail and a new stamper I ordered a while ago :)

First with pictures of the haul :)

OPI Avoplex to go and Essie Matte about you *both for my swap with Zoe*, Lush Lemony Flutter *finally had to try this stuff after hearing so much about it and I'm already in love with it* and Make up for ever HD Powder *Best finishing powdering Ive ever tried, works on like any skin tone*

Zoya Carly from the new Surf collection *was really hard to choose just 1 but I had to be good*, Claire's Candy Shop *a dupe of Deborah Lippmann's Ive been lemming after* and my new double sided stamper *this took like 5 weeks to get there :( *

I think I had a pretty productive day buying this stuff, i did come across the new OPI Spider-man collection at Trade Secrets but decide to hold of until Cosmo prof gets them so that I get my discount he he. Gotta save money to spend on other polish stuff :)

Now for my nail mail!!

I love supporting Indie polish makers so when 365 days of color started selling there I had to get all five *Funfetti, cotton candy, explosion, summer dreams and old time movie*. She had super fast shipping and was a delight to email back and forth with and her polishes are even better in person!! I believe she now also carries these in full sizes if your interested :)

And last but defiantly not least is my awesome Spring Surprise from Carrie <3!!! She got me A Perfect 10 Sweet thang, Revlon scented Apple-tini fizz and Pinapple fizz, NYC matte top coat, Hard CAndy Beetle, and Confetti Pink Confetti, as well as a flirt stamping kit with a flower plate!!! Untried: Cult Nails Captivated and Seduction

Today I have a very special post, I came home to a nail mail Ive been very excited for!!!! My Cult Nails 5 dollar sale polishes!!!!! I bought 2 Captivated (one for me and one for a friend) and Seduction!!! I love how hers come in little polish burritos, they are absolutely adorable!!!

Don't the polishes look so pretty!!! I only own one other Cult Nails polishes besides these two and that's Toxic Seaweed (which is a limited edition color that she is now out of) , and I must say I love them all.

I decided to try both polishes today, one on each hand. I layered them over both white and a corresponding cream. I used 2 coats of each base color adn 2 coats of each  Cult Nails polish. First up will be Captivated!!

Captivated is described as a “coral jelly polish packed with intense gold and coral glitter” , it applies really well, with the glitter spreading out evenly across the nail, all though it was a tad thick due to all the glitter. On the Thumb, Middle and Pinkie I layered it over China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy and on the Pointer and Ring fingers I layered it over Billie French White.

As you can see over the Flip Flop Fantasy it pops a lot more, I find on the white you can see a bit unevenness in the photos but when just looking at my nails you don't notice it. Overall I love this polish and cant wait to try it over black!! You can buy this polish off of her website :)

Now onto Seduction!!!  Seduction is a limited edition polish which is described as "A sheer purple/red jelly top coat polish loaded with red and blue multi chromatic flakes" , it also applied really well although I found it was a bit more sheer then Captivated which you will notice on the fingers which had a white base coat. On Thumb, Middle and Pinkie I layered it over China Glaze Spontaneous and on the Ring and Pointer I layered it over Billie French White.

As you can see in the photo it seem like there's a big difference in color from what Seduction was layered over but again in person you don't notice this as much as with how see through it is in spots. This polish can also be purchased until it sells out on her website :) Bet this polish would also look amazing over black he he.

Both of these colors are much more beautiful in person. The photos just don't capture how much they sparkle adn the depth in both. Make sure you guy get your hands on these if you like glitter/flakies :)

Another Untried, Glitter Top Coat :)

Today I bring you another untried polish, or shall I say a few of them. I already posed my ombre manicure which is the base of today's mani. It was my first time using Max Factor Disco Mix and Intense Plum, as well as China Glaze Traffic Jam and Sally Hansen Fuchsia Flare. I then decided it need something on top so I used my new 365 Days Of Color polish, Old Time Movie!!

I must say i'm really impressed with Old Time Movie, i love how the glitter is really broken/torn in it. I think it also works really well with the 5 base colors I used :)
